Experience & Levels

Users will earn experience towards level from being active in your Discord server.

Experience

Experience is split into two parts, one is gained at a local server level and the other on a global level.

Global XP is gained at a rate of 1 point per activity in chat or voice chat with a 7-second global cooldown between activities.

Local XP is gained at a rate of 1 point per activity in chat or voice chat with a 7-second global cooldown between activities. The server admin can use modifiers on channels or roles to alter this rate for a set duration.

Voice XP requires two users to be present in a voice channel to start gaining XP. Users can’t gain Voice XP in AFK Channels, while muted or deafened.

Levels

Levels are gained based on the XP amount the user has. This is the same for Local Levels and Global Levels.

Local Levels can have server roles assigned to them.

Local multipliers from roles can stack, this is off by default and can be enabled by Server Admins.
